The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.Extracellular vesicles (EVs) secreted by human pluripotent stem cells-derived cardiovascular progenitor cells (hPSC-CVPCs) can improve repair of infarcted hearts in mouse and nonhuman primate myocardial infarction models. To fully achieve their values, it is essential to establish an efficient method for the isolation of EVs from hPSC-CVPCs. Here we describe the protocols for efficient isolation and characterization of EVs from the conditioned medium of hPSC-CVPCs.
